My latest piece in progress.......

I fancied doing a paper cut inspired by nursery rhymes. I love doing cats but haven't tried a grandfather clock before. I do a basic draft drawing and cut first.

The first draft is cut, but I'm really not happy with the lettering.

I've now drawn it out again with hopefully better lettering. I now like to draw it out back to front to avoid showing any pencil marks on the final piece, this is sometimes a challenge with text!!
I'll keep you updated with the next stage...........
